As a result, effective care often requires the involvement of several healthcare professionals, including neurologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, (neuro)psychologists/psychotherapists, nurses, and other specialists. ParkinsonNet Luxembourg is a nationwide competence network that brings together all healthcare professionals required for an optimal and integrated care (as well as researchers, people living with Parkinson’s disease, their families, and patient associations. Its goal is to improve communication, coordination, and collaboration between all those involved in Parkinson’s care, ensuring that patients receive the right support at the right time, thereby improving their quality of life.

ParkinsonNet Luxembourg promotes evidence-based care, professional training, and the sharing of expertise across disciplines, resulting in high-quality care and better informed healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers and society. By strengthening connections between healthcare providers and patients, it aims to improve the quality of care, support informed decision-making, and enhance the quality of life of people living with Parkinson’s disease.
