The University trains future nurses and doctors for Luxembourg, through a growing programme including Bachelors, specialisations and a future Master in medicine. It plays an important role in Luxembourg’s ambitions in translational medicine, health innovation, and interdisciplinary biomedical research.

As a founding partner of the Luxembourg Research Clinic (LRC) – Fuerschungsklinik Lëtzebuerg, the University contributes internationally competitive research expertise together with a strong commitment to clinical collaboration and the translation of research into improved health and patient care.

Research carried out across the University’s faculties and research centres spans fundamental and translational biomedical research, systems medicine, data science, psychology and health.
